Can the watermark be removed later?
It is added as a semi-transparent image on each page. Someone with PDF editing software could remove it, so it deters copying rather than making it impossible.
Does the watermark cover the text?
It is drawn on top but faintly. “Light” or “Medium” opacity keeps everything readable.
