Many forms, quotes and agreements only need your handwritten-style signature on the last page before you send them back. Instead of printing, signing and scanning, you can draw your signature here and drop it onto the PDF.
Draw with a mouse, finger or stylus, or use a picture of your signature. Click the page preview to place it, drag to fine-tune and set the size with the slider. Everything happens in your browser.
How to use
- Select or drop one PDF.
- Draw your signature in the box (black or blue pen), or choose a PNG/JPG image of it.
- Pick the page (the last page is selected by default), click the preview to place the signature and adjust its size.
- Optionally tick “Add to every page”, then press Sign & download.
Why use Deftivo
No printing or scanning
Sign on screen and send the file straight back, with the original text still sharp and selectable.
Works with photos of your signature
A white background can be made transparent, so a phone photo of your signature on paper blends into the page.
Private
Contracts are sensitive. The PDF and your signature never leave your device.
Is this a legally binding digital signature?
This tool adds a picture of your signature to the page — the same as signing a printout and scanning it. It does not attach a certificate, and the saved PDF is not locked against later changes.
Many everyday documents accept this kind of signature, but some contracts or official filings require a certificate-based digital signature. If you are unsure, ask the person or organisation receiving the document.
Frequently asked questions
Can I sign on my phone?
Yes. Draw your signature with your finger, then tap the page preview to place it and drag it into position.
Can I put the signature on every page?
Yes. Tick “Add to every page” and it is placed at the same relative position and size on each page.
My signature image has a white box around it.
Keep “Make white background transparent” on. For the cleanest result, use a PNG with a transparent background.
What about password-protected PDFs?
Remove the password in a PDF reader first. Encrypted PDFs cannot be edited without it.
