About Deftivo

Deftivo is a small collection of free online tools for everyday tasks: combining PDFs, turning photos into PDFs, shrinking images, working out percentages and counting words.

The name comes from “deft” — quick and skilful with your hands. Each tool is meant to do one job well, without getting in your way.

How Deftivo is different

Wherever possible, files are processed inside your own browser. Your PDFs and photos are not uploaded to a server, so they stay on your device. This also makes the tools fast and lets us keep them free.

There is no account to create, no watermark on your files and no limit on how often you use a tool.

How the site is funded

Deftivo may show advertising in the future to cover its running costs. Ads will never be placed where they could be mistaken for a tool’s buttons.
