How to use
- Select or drop one or more photos — JPG, PNG, WebP or iPhone HEIC.
- Choose what to cut out: Photo (AI) for people, products and pets, or Signature / stamp for ink on white paper.
- Choose the background: transparent, white or a color of your choice. For product shots, pick a shape (square 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9), a margin and a shadow.
- Press Remove background. Photos take a few seconds each (up to about a minute on slow computers); signatures are instant.
- If an edge is off, press Touch up and paint with Erase or Restore.
- Download each image, or all of them as a ZIP.

Tips for a cleaner cut-out
Photos where the subject stands out from the background give the best result. A plain wall or a single-color backdrop helps a lot.
Fine hair and fur are kept well in most photos, but zoom in on the result to check edges before printing.
To keep the transparency, use the PNG file. If you pick a white or colored background, the image is saved as a smaller JPG.

Why is the first run slower?
The AI model (about 44 MB) is downloaded the first time and then stored in your browser, so later visits start much faster.
Does it work on a low-end computer or phone?
Yes. It uses only the processor, not the graphics card. On older devices it simply takes longer — usually 10 to 60 seconds per photo. Closing other tabs helps on devices with little memory.
Will the quality drop?
No. The cut-out is applied to your original photo at full size (very large photos are reduced to 16 megapixels).
Can I use the results commercially?
Yes. The images are yours, and the AI model used (ormbg) is released under the Apache-2.0 license.
The AI missed a spot. Can I fix it?
Yes. Press Touch up under the result, then paint with Erase to remove leftovers or Restore to bring back parts that were cut off. You can zoom in and undo.
Can it make square product photos for an online shop?
Yes. Pick Square 1:1 (or 4:5 / 16:9) and a white background. The product is centered with the margin you choose, and small images are enlarged to at least 1000 px. Add a soft or floor shadow so it does not look pasted on.
How do I make a transparent signature?
Sign on white paper, take a photo, and choose Signature / stamp. The paper is removed instantly without the AI, shadows from uneven lighting are evened out, and you can make the ink black or blue and trim the empty space.
